Rumour: Spaniard Available For Nothing

SkySports.com understands that Everton and Sunderland are interested in signing former Valencia winger Vicente, who is now a free agent.

The experienced Spaniard, who has made almost 300 appearances in the Spanish top-flight, is available on a free transfer after his contract with Valencia expired this Summer.

The player has reportedly had offers from La Liga clubs but it is understood that the Spanish international would fancy a chance to test himself in the English Premier League.

As well as Everton, the 30-year-old has been linked with Blackburn, Newcastle, Swansea and Sunderland this Summer.

With Everton manager David Moyes short of cash, Vicente could be a viable option.
