Everton Duo In England Squad

Everton's defensive pairing of Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines have been named in Fabio Capello's 25-man England squad for the upcoming friendly with the Netherlands.

Just 3 days before the new Premier League season England take on Holland at Wembley in a friendly fixture. The timing of the international schedule is certainly not ideal and has drawn criticism from many a club manager as well as England boss Fabio Capello.

Both Everton players have kept their places in the Italian's squad after being involved against Switzerland in May.

They may come up against club-mate John Heitinga, who has been selected in the Netherlands squad. The full England squad is as follows:

Robert Green (West Ham United), Joe Hart (Manchester City), David Stockdale (Ipswich Town - on loan from Fulham), Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Bolton Wanderers), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Joleon Lescott (Manchester City), John Terry (Chelsea), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur), Gareth Barry (Manchester City), Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Stewart Downing (Liverpool), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), James Milner (Manchester City), Scott Parker (West Ham United), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal), Ashley Young (Manchester United), Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Peter Crouch (Tottenham Hotspur), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Danny Welbeck (Manchester United).
