Rumour: Blues Tracking Madrid Winger

Everton are one of three Premier League clubs that have been alerted to the availability of Real Madrid winger Pedro Leon after the player turned down a move to Getafe.

According to talkSPORT, the other clubs after Leon are Aston Villa and Fulham. The player only signed for Real Madrid last Summer but has failed to hold down a first-team spot and is likely to leave the Bernabeu in this transfer window.

However, the winger turned down a move to Getafe and reports in Spain suggest he would welcome the opportunity to move to the Premier League, probably on a loan deal.

Leon, 24, would provide a replacement for Seamus Coleman, who was this week ruled out for a lengthy period of time after suffering a torn ligament in his ankle.
