Rumour: Deadline Day Deal For Dutchman

Everton may move for Real Madrid's Dutch midfielder Royston Drenthe, according to talkSPORT's Graham Hunter.

Drenthe, a Dutch international, moved to Real Madrid in 2007 but has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu and spent last season on loan at Spanish second division side Hércules.

Graham Hunter thinks that Drenthe is "a good signing waiting to happen because he's low cost, decent quality and ready to take the next step in his career."

Hunter added "Everton have been in to have a look at him, whether that deal takes place or not, I'm not yet sure. But that's something to definitely watch for."
