Everton have agreed a deal to sign Argentinian striker Denis Stracqualursi on loan from Tigre.The news was broken by various respected sources on Twitter amid rumours that both Yakubu and Jermaine Beckford could be on the way out of Goodison Park.
The player is currently undergoing a medical at Everton and looks set to join on a season-long loan.
23-year-old Stracqualursi scored 22 goals in 35 appearances for Tigres last season, a feat which made him the Argentine league's top scorer.
His form attracted the attention of Espanyol, Fiorentina and a number of German clubs, but his agent Joseph Cysterzpiller has agreed terms with Everton.
