Agard, 21, made his Everton debut against Hull City in the Carling Cup in 2009 and went on to make a handful of substitute appearances in the Premier League. However, following loan spells at Peterbrough and Kilmarnock, he was released by Everton earlier this month.
On signing for the Glovers, Agard told BBC Somerset: "It is a good club for me to come to and hopefully me and Yeovil can move forward.
"I want to be playing first-team football so this is the right time for me to get out there and show everyone what I can do."
