Loan Watch: 15th October

A quintet of Everton players featured for their loan clubs this week, here's a round-up of how they did.

Luke Garbutt made his second start for Cheltenham Town on Friday night and impressed again, grabbing another assist in a 0-2 victory at Burton Albion. Cheltenham Town reporter @JPEchoRobins gave this assessment of Garbutt on Twitter: "two league apps, two assists, defended well, great prospect."

Shane Duffy helped Scunthorpe United to a 0-0 draw at Brentford in League One on Saturday. Incredibly, it was Scunthorpe's first clean sheet in 24 games.

Jose Baxter scored another goal for Tranmere Rovers as they beat Oldham Athletic 1-0 at Prenton Park. The youngster's shot may have taken a touch off Enoch Showunmi but Baxter was credited with the goal on Sky Sports.

João Silva played for Vitória de Setúbal on Sunday as they crashed out of the Taça de Portugal, losing 1-0 to SC Mirandela.

Joseph Yobo was in the Fenerbahçe side that won 1-2 against Mersin İdmanyurdu this evening. The victory leaves them 3 points clear at the top of the Turkish Süper Lig.
