Cheltenham Youngsters Set To Join Everton

Everton are poised to sign two youth players from Cheltenham Town, with talks between the clubs and the boys' parents ongoing.

Robins Chairman Paul Baker (above) said on Tuesday that: "Everton have been first class and it's all going along well, but there are big decisions for the lads and the parents.

"We'll do what's right for the club and we're hopeful of being able to make an announcement in the next couple of weeks.

"If we can make money through our centre of excellence, it is much easier than trying to sell advertising and hospitality and it improves the credibility of what the club does, as well as building up good relationships with top clubs, which has helped with the signing of Luke Garbutt."

The fantastic Everton blog EvertonYouths rumours the signings to be 2 of Courtney Duffus, Tyrone Duffus and Zack Kotwica, whilst Aaron Danks - an Academy football guru - said on Twitter that the signings will be "a CF and his younger brother."
