Gueye "Shaken" After Burglary

Everton's French winger Magaye Gueye is said to be "shaken but unhurt" after he was the victim of a burglary at his apartment in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Gueye, 21, was approached by a group of three men as he went to his car outside his apartment at 01:30 BST on Sunday morning. The Frenchman was forced to let to the robbers into his apartment, where they took "cash, his mobile phone and other items."

An Everton statement said that the midfielder was left "shaken but unhurt" and that he was co-operating with Merseyside Police in their investigations.
